Grieving the loss of someone to suicide can be different than grief following other kinds of death. Counselling can help you to understand how you have been affected by this loss and reduce the sense of isolation that many people in your situation feel.  Counselling can differ from talking to family and friends in that counsellors are trained to be neutral, keep information confidential and have skills to help people learn about themselves and their feelings.

We offer suicide bereavement in 1:1 sessions and group sessions. Some people choose to participate in group counselling and find it helpful to share experiences with others in a similar situation.
