In Crisis? 
Lynn Scruby is a member of Klinic Board of Directors and a Board representative to the Social Justice committee.
Dr. Scruby holds a BN degree from McGill University in Montreal, an MS degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg.
In her position as Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, she teaches community health in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Her areas of teaching expertise include health promotion, population health, knowledge translation and health policy. She has conducted research with vulnerable populations in both urban and rural contexts, including program and policy directions. Her research program utilizes the lens of equity and social justice and includes the study of organizational collaboration for population health promotion in inner-city neighbourhoods.
She serves as Prairie Region Research Coordinator and Co-Investigator for a national study exploring social support and rural women’s health. She is a Research Associate, with the Manitoba Centre for Nursing and Health Research and a member of the Qualitative Research Group at the University of Manitoba. In addition to her work on several community Boards and Foundations, she is a member of the National Research Panel, for Family Resource Programs Canada.
