September 30: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30, 2026

Truth and Reconciliation at Klinic

During September, Truth and Reconciliation Month, Klinic reaffirms our commitment to Indigenous sovereignty, wellness, safety, and justice.

We honour the leadership, knowledge, and lived experiences of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We are committed to meaningful, ongoing action guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, the MMIWG2S+ Calls for Justice, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

This commitment includes strengthening Indigenous-led approaches to care, building relationships with Indigenous health and community leaders, expanding cultural safety and anti-racism learning, and advancing policies that support self-determination, dignity, and equitable access to care.

Truth and Reconciliation is not a commitment for one month. It is an ongoing responsibility to listen, learn, transform systems, honour Survivors, and support the healing, safety, and strength of Indigenous Peoples and communities.
