People who inflict intimate partner violence and/or domestic violence

Intimate partner violence can involve yelling, controlling actions, hitting, blaming, and making threats. These actions hurt others and damage relationships—but people can learn to change.

Evolve offers one-on-one or group counselling. This is for people who see that their actions have hurt their partner or family, whether it’s now or in the past. With Evolve, you will:

  • Learn to understand your behaviour.
  • Take responsibility.
  • Build safer, healthier relationships.

Families experiencing domestic violence

Children feel the impact of violence at home, even if they don’t see it happen. It can affect how they feel, behave, and grow. Evolve provides counselling for parents, caregivers, and children. This support is available during current abuse or for past experiences. With Evolve, you will:

  • Increase resiliency.
  • Strengthen relationships.
  • Develop new patterns.
