Allison Fenske, Board Chair of Klinic shares, “It is with mixed emotion that we share that after six years of dedication and leadership Nicole Chammartin will be leaving Klinic Community Health to pursue a new opportunity.” Fenske also notes that, “Nicole has been with Klinic during a time of significant growth and change, and has overseen key transformations at Klinic, including the new capital project and relocation to 167 Sherbrook St. completed in the summer of 2020. Nicole has been able to navigate the organization through these changes even in the face of a global pandemic.” The Board of Directors is excited to welcome Ayn Wilcox to her new role, Fenske highlights that, “Ayn is a strategic, values-based leader. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Ayn possesses executive level operational, administrative and financial management skills, with an emphasis on quality and innovation. Her passion is supporting individuals and communities to thrive.” Prior to joining Klinic in August 2020 Ayn was Executive Director for Diagnostic Services with Shared Health. In this role Ayn was responsible for the operations of approx. 70 diagnostic sites in hospitals and health centres across the province, with 1500+ staff. Ayn’s role was broad and provided her the opportunity to work in all facets of healthcare including acute, non-acute, specialized and community. In addition to her professional work Ayn has volunteered with a number of organizations. She is currently a member of the United Way Centraide Canada’s national board and has volunteered with United Way Winnipeg for over twenty years.
