Transgender Health Klinic

Klinic Community Health strives to be a Trans Aware & Trans Friendly agency. We are dedicated to providing specialized health services to transgender individuals who are unable to receive these services elsewhere.

With an emphasis on prevention, health promotion and education, we help clients make informed choices about their health and wellness. These services are offered by our inter-professional team, which includes physicians, dietitians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and medical assistants. We also collaborate with psychologists and psychiatrists when applicable to support the transition process.

From a big picture outlook, we aim to increase capacity for transgender health provision in Manitoba by providing a learning space for students of medicine, nursing and social work.

We have a new page dedicated to resources for  Health  Care  Providers  here.
Please note we are currently working on updating our resources for community members.
Words that describe identities are very important. We’ve chosen the words in these sections to be as broad as possible, using the word “trans” to reflect diverse gender identities and expressions. If you feel the words chosen do not reflect your experience or make you feel uncomfortable, we apologize and encourage you to replace the words with ones that best reflect you.
