Dream Catchers supports a diverse group of women. Among them are some of the most resilient women you will ever meet! They have and continue to face huge challenges such as food and housing insecurity, physical and mental illness, job and financial uncertainty, addiction, discrimination, and violence. Despite the many challenges in their lives, each one of these women displays great courage and resilience. Some of the women are upgrading their education, some are employed in the field to support youth currently experiencing sexual exploitation, and some are finding more secure housing and working towards greater financial independence. Some have learned other ways to cope with their stressors without relying on substance use, while others are working towards treatment for their addictions. In addition, some are building more positive relationships, even parenting their children for the first time. Where we can use your support currently is with donations of: – Gift cards for food or services (Walmart, Save On Foods, Giant Tiger) – Personal hygiene items (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, tampons and pads, body wash, body sprays) – Daily items (e.g. socks, panties) Your contribution to Klinic’s Dream Catchers Program is what makes it possible for our community to gather and to move forward in their lives towards the healing they need. Please drop off any donations to 870 Portage Ave. We are so thankful for your generosity and support.
