Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Course

Klinic’s Hummingbird program is now offering the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) didactic course – a 40-hour continuing education opportunity for licensed and registered nurses. Led by expert Hummingbird practitioners, this week-long training covers the theory and knowledge needed to provide care for those who have experienced sexual assault. This course meets the International Association of Forensic Nurses’ Education Guidelines.

Suicide Prevention

This half-day workshop explores the context and meaning of suicide, with a focus on recognition, assessment, intervention, and prevention. Participants will learn compassionate, non-judgmental approaches to support those at risk and promote safety.

This half-day workshop introduces trauma and the principles of Trauma-Informed Care, highlighting ways to integrate a trauma-sensitive approach in everyday interactions. The session also includes mindfulness practices and time for self-reflection.
