Allison Fenske is a lawyer with the Public Interest Law Centre. Her work involves navigating legal issues through a social inclusion lens, with a particular focus on equity deserving groups and those experiencing structural violence and oppression.
In addition to a busy legal practice, Allison also teaches Gender and the Law at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law.
Allison is a passionate advocate for inclusive and integrated health care. She joined the Klinic Board of Directors in June 2017 and is committed to Klinic’s ongoing work to strengthen the community health system in Manitoba.
Allison is a recipient of the Manitoba Bar Association’s Access to Justice Award, as well as a Commendation of Service from the Clerk of the Executive Council (Province of Manitoba), for her work assisting the first Manitoba families to access medical assistance in dying.
