KLINIC AND SERC HOST COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE TODAY AT FUTURE LOCATION IN WEST BROADWAY
THURSDAY, APRIL 12th– WINNIPEG, MANITOBA: We’re glad to be your neighbours! Klinic Community Health (Klinic) and the Sexuality Education Resource Centre (SERC) are re-locating to 167 Sherbrook Street in the summer of 2019. Before extensive renovations begin to the interior and exterior of the building, both non-profits invite the public to take part in a community open house today. All are welcome, and light snacks will be provided.
“We’ve done ongoing consultations with staff, clients and various stakeholders and this open house is the final step before we begin construction”, says Nicole Chammartin, Executive Director of Klinic and SERC. “We are thrilled to have ft3 Architecture present our schematic design, show the community what we’ve come up with and hear what folks think.”
Join SERC, Klinic and ft3 Architecture TODAY between 3:00 and 7:00PM. Guided by ft3 Architecture, three building tours will be offered at 3:30PM, 4:30PM and later at 6:00PM. The design presentation will begin at 5:00PM, followed by an opportunity to answer any questions folks may have.
Though Klinic and SERC will be co-locating, they will remain two separate organizations. Both organizations have a history in West Broadway and look forward to returning to the neighbourhood.
