Allison Fenske is a lawyer with the Public Interest Law Centre, where her work involves navigating legal issues through a social inclusion lens, with a particular focus on people living in vulnerable or marginalized communities.

In addition to a busy practice, Allison also teaches a course on Women and the Law at the University of Winnipeg.

Allison is a passionate advocate for inclusive and integrated health care. She joined the Klinic Board of Directors in June 2017 and is excited to be a part of Klinic’s continuing work to strengthen the community health system in Manitoba.

Allison was recently awarded the Manitoba Bar Association’s Access to Justice Award, as well as a Commendation of Service from the Clerk of the Executive Council (Province of Manitoba), for her work assisting the first Manitoba families to access medical assistance in dying.
