Improving Crisis Support Services for 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC Communities in Manitoba

In partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada, Klinic led a community-based study from December 2024 – May 2025, to improve crisis support for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in Manitoba. Through interviews and focus groups with support seekers and service providers, the study identified barriers and emphasized the need for culturally safe, transparent, and inclusive care.

Findings have informed a new training module and will be shared with others working in Crisis Services—so we can continue learning from and centering community voices.
