Who this training is for
This training is for healthcare workers and students to gain key skills and understand gender-affirming care better. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to provide caring, inclusive, and knowledgeable support to transgender and gender-diverse clients.
Workshops we offer
Transgender, Gender Diversity Awareness and Inclusion training
You will explore transgender and gender-diverse experiences, such as:
- Understanding the impacts of systemic anti-trans discrimination.
- Identifying what makes a positive space and inclusive practice.
- Learning from peer supporters with lived experience.

Gender-affirming Hormone Prescriber workshop
You will learn hands-on skills to support clients/patients, such as:
- Exploring gender journeys and goals.
- Talking about informed consent.
- Assessing readiness for hormone therapy.
- Prescribing and monitoring hormone therapy.
- Managing side effects and addressing common concerns.
- Seeking ongoing clinical support and resources.
Prerequisite: Participants are expected to have completed Klinic’s Transgender & Gender Diversity Awareness and Inclusion Training. Equivalent knowledge, training, or relevant clinical experience may be considered. Please describe your related experience when registering.
